The chances of your car hitting a deer are going up. The odds for such an accident in Ohio are an estimated 1 of 126 drivers, up from when 1 out of 131 drivers had deer-related crashes during 2016, according to a report by the Columbus Dispatch.
And a run-in with a deer can be a very unfortunate event. It can cause severe injuries to you and your passengers, and cost an average of $2,800 to repair your vehicle.
